We treat prompts as versioned, diffable source: rigorous versioning and semantic analysis, not throwaway text. Every change is reviewable and every revision is reproducible.
Quality is observable
The goal is to make prompt quality measurable rather than asserted: battle-test outputs across models and surface coherence as a tracked signal. We state this as the direction of travel, not a finished score.
Safety is a soft gate
Submissions pass through a safety gate that holds, not silently blocks. Risky patterns pause for human review with a public reason, so contributors always know why.
The non-negotiables
- No prompt accepted without a stated role and an output schema.
- No silent breaking changes.
- No PII or secrets in submissions.
- No paid-only ranking.
- No dark patterns at the submission gate; reject reasons are public.
- No anonymous moderation; every approval has a human signature.
