For repositories that already have a PR template, use:
Required Block
The validator expects a ## Brutal Honesty block. The cumulative required
fields include evidence, smoke status, Tier A self-score, Tier B review,
official score, carry-forward state, sticky caveat reporting, independence
claim, loop iteration counts, and the v3.7.1 gate-skip and rewrite-scope
fields.
Use the full template for greenfield installs. Use the merge snippet for existing repositories so local issue, testing, deployment, or review sections are preserved.
v3.7.1 Fields
v3.7.1 adds or tightens enforcement around:
SKIPPED_GATES:;REWRITE_SCOPE:;- Tier B sentinel rejection;
- score-gaming language rejection;
- skipped-gate severity caps;
- wholesale rewrite as edit detection.
The exact field order and accepted values are defined by the template, rulebook, validator, and convention tables. Do not hand-roll a reduced block and call it v3.7.1.
